QUIET CONFLICTS

QUIET CONFLICTS:

A people, grace the political gatherings of the known dishonest government. They applaud at their deceitful words. They are entertained. It is the destruction - pains and sufferings they invite upon themselves. So many times in history, such types of men are elected. Perils are their companion.
My country have such men and women. The Clique of Ramotar/ Jagdeo. They may well have your pains and sufferings written for you. You see their corruption and yet you act dumb to it. You gather to them, as the day Christ was crucified in Jerusalem. Madness. Utter madness. I see your adulations.
Twisted words pleases you. Be curious. Search the words, peeling off the lips of the fear mongers.
This country has already seen a man like Jagdeo.
Afro-Guyanese can attest to the man who fashioned words and sentences –beautiful when dropping from his lips. They too were entertained. Then the entertainer became the task master. Forbes was that Man.  Under his regime, every citizen, subordinate to the Kabaka, had to manage their sufferings-coolie people and black people alike.
East Indians, I ask of you again. Give your vote to the APNU+AFC. You will rid yourself of Ramotar/Jagdeo Clique and re-take the Peoples Progressive Party. You cannot allow the Godless to strip you of your freedom. Do not live in your memories of the Jagans-then you are already dead as they are. And you would have handed over your children to the evil deeds of the Ramotar/Jagdeo Clique.
In 1950, our hearts and minds were poisoned by extremists.  Evil Godless people who brought a dangerous ideology to us. They sought to remove God from the society. And their vision became a division (di-vision).
When the defenses of God are removed, mankind is left to the wiles of the devil. Chaos will become the norm.
And chaos we have had since.
In 1955, the Split between Forbes and Cheddie fractured the peaceful co-existence of Afro and Indo Guyanese. By this time, East Indians had lived 117 years among the Afro, in the villages, city and town.
The genesis of quiet conflicts.
Ordinary citizens paid the ultimate prize for false rhetoric.
Freedom, is not about politics. It is the duty and rights of citizens to defend it. Freedom is your homes, your wives and your children. Your faith in God.
It was a Foreigner who came to us from Chicago-Godless in her beliefs. A Stalinist, determined to mold us to her visions of a utopian society.
In 1953, a boy of 8 years. I listened to the radio as the Governor gave his speech on why he suspended the constitution.  Everything he said was true. I saw it all.
Subversive materials. I distributed it. Unlawful to be in possession of. My father would hid it away so that the police raids couldn’t find it.
Banned Public gatherings. My father ignored the order and flew huge red flag, advertising a public meeting.
Letters of Intimidation. I transcribed them.
Prohibited from displaying the portrait of Josef Stalin. My father would carry it around his neck in full view of the Governor.
Sabotage. My father was accused of attempting to dynamite Blairmont Sugar Factory.
David Rose came with the Detained Oder very early one morning in 1954 and took him away to Mazaruni.
As the governor continued to read, citizens became aware of events that took place unknowing to them.
The frequent trips the Jagans made to the Soviet Union. Honouring and singing songs of praise not to God but Josef Stalin. A man who killed millions of his own people.
The entrenched Jagans, would be subversives. Their quiet conflicts with Burnham’s PNC.
Death was part of the culture of the communists. Guyana would have its share of death. More the conflicts. More the possibility of death. More the Jagans Peoples Progressive Party would cultivate the minds of the East Indians. Added to the Enmore Martyrs would be the Ballot Box Martyrs, Michael Forde killing, Wismar Massacre, the arrest and trials for treasonable acts.
All this made to appear, as if it was the complete fault of the tyrant Forbes Burnham. Agitators were constantly at work.
Forbes was a member of the Jagans PPP, he knew the capabilities and dangers he was up against. And he prepared for it.
Cheddie played into Forbes hands.
The communist agenda of the Jagans disturbed the West tremendously. The British Army was deployed. Searched the homes of East Indian. Confiscated their guns. Considered no longer a threat to the PNC, Forbes Burnham was free of any possible overthrow by the PPP.  The Americans would modernize the Volunteer Force into the Guyana Defence Force.
Another set of Quiet Conflicts.
The Jagans would recruit young East Indians for scholarships to the Soviet Union. A special university set up for indoctrination-Patrice Lumumba University. Lectures on the values of Marxism and Leninism. Part of the curriculum was the instruction of subversion. The Jagans would make frequent trips to Moscow for progress reports. An army of subversives for the struggles of Guyana’s Freedom.
Yet, another set of Quiet Conflicts.
Forbes would be prepared.
As the young men returned home, Forbes would see to it that they were never employed. Those who did find work, were hounded by PPP operatives. Labeled as sell outs. And at times bullied and threatened.
Today, you will find such men in Guyana. Ready to intimidate the East Indians into submission. Into Cult Jagan – the godless, must never be blotted out of the memory of the East Indians.
Quiet Conflicts are still present.
Forbes has been dead for some 30 years now, but the minds of the Stalinist cannot perceive it. They were brainwashed of his misdeeds. They are locked in time. The Ramotar/Jagdeo Clique are zombies-dead but yet walks.
It is time for these quiet conflicts to end.
East Indians you must vote APNU+AFC. By doing so, you will displace the impostors of the Peoples Progressive Party.
Let it be known. For every year Forbes reigned, the Jagans were responsible for it. Their refusal to depart from a Communist Ideology was a Stubbornness. Communism died and they didn’t even know. The PPP they left behind is Communist in structure-old and dilapidated. And the corruptible have moved in.
Throw them out and fashion a modern political system-one that as East Indians you can contribute in meaningful ways with the other political organizations to make Guyana better for all citizens.

THE CULT

THE CULT:

The dictionary explains, “intense in and devotion to a person, idea, or activity.”
That is the condition and state of mind of the East Indians. And it has been that way since the early 1950’s. Especially, after the Split between Forbes and Cheddie.
I am in no way attempting to belittle the minds of the East Indian population of Guyana. However, I will attempt to enlighten. Those, my fellow citizens.
Did Dr. Jagan, intentionally wanted such intense dominance over the minds of his ethnic group?  He had quite a noticeable smile. And, at times I wondered, what is going on in his mind. The mind is a secret. Its true intentions can be discerned on the face. But, can be masked by the smile.
Today, we have Cult followings in Guyana. For the Afro, it is L.F.S. Burnham. And, for the Indo, it is C.B. Jagan,
Way back then. For the Amerinds, it would have been Randolph Cheeks-if they remembered. And, for the Putagee, it was Peter D’Augiar.
No Afro dare say anything negative about Forbes-because, it would be dishonouring to his memory and giving credit to those who have chastised him all along. His name, immediately conjures up everything Afro-Guyanese.
Cheddie, the reminder of rigged elections, banned food commodities, Indo persecution. His name, is a remembering of those days.
The representations of good and evil. That changes sides. Depending on the ethnic groups.
It is like Biblical.
Nebuchadnezzar had built an image-once the trumpet was blown everyone prostrated themselves to the idol.
Both Jagan and Burnham have become images in the mindset of the Guyanese people. And we are made to buckle under their memories.  Both Granger and Nagamootoo are muzzled-not to dare the wrath of the respective adherents. They must find that narrow path and prevail.
Particularly, how did the “Jagans Cult” came to be?
I am reminded of the PPP supporter who claimed, “since he barn and gat sense, he only know the PPP.”
Whenever, I meet this fella, I plan to ask him, “If he was born in a fowl cob, would he consider himself to be a man or a fowl.”
Anyway, the mind of the East Indian was predetermined at a very early age. As to their sentiments.
Janet had a devotion to Communism. She found in Cheddie, a country. Ready for her communist activities. Not to say, it wasn’t already sold at the street corners of Georgetown. Communist ideas were already around in British Guiana among some of the Coloureds-mainly people with the African and Baccra bloodline. But, Janet drove it. With such intensity. She was the organiser. Cheddie was only the face. Even the Governor of the Colony, publicly made known his observation, “It appears, as though the Premier takes his orders from another.”
I love to research ancient history. Because, I see a reoccurring pattern in the lives of the generations that had lived on this planet. As the Scriptures records, “The hearts and souls of mankind are unchanged from generations to generations.” For every civilization, their technologies continually (we build on it) enhances our progress to living. But, it does not alter the heart-for the heart (mind) is where good and evil thrives.
My country has a parallel to the “Cult of Baal”, the god of Mesopotamia.
From the Bible: Nimrod was a mighty warrior. In the eyes of the Almighty God, he was a mighty hunter. Nimrod created the kingdom of Babylon and many other centers (cities) in modern day Iraq. He also wanted to reach the throne of God with his Tower of Babel. He was a Rebel.
In his book, “The West on Trial”, Dr. Jagan would write, “On his family tree, there would not have been a Rebel like him.” Ofcourse, he had to be thinking of Bihar-later divided as Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. He was a first generation, born in the colony whose parents were from Uttar Pradesh. Every man needs a good woman behind him to promote his destiny.  And Janet was his mentor.
Semiramis, the mother of Nimrod, fascinated with the might and power of her son. She would want him to be remembered forever. She would have a child by Nimrod. Baal. And in Baal, Semiramis created a god, claiming Baal to be the re-incarnation of Nimrod. Wherever, that civilization conquered, Baal was worshipped. After decades of worshipping Baal, the Hittites would dominate the known world and took the worship of Baal to higher limits. They became an abomination in the eyes of the Almighty God.
Enough is Enough, And God would send out the Israelites to crush the altars of Baal wherever it was found.
Dr. Jagan had two very short duration of leadership in Guyana. His first duration came to an abrupt end because of his stubbornness. And the other, his death. And the myth is, “What he could have been.”
As any wife of influence, Janet would want to keep Cheddie’s memory alive. Memories is one thing, but to enslave the minds of the East Indians to the Cult of Jagan. That is wrong.
East Indians are programmed to believe Dr. Jagan was not corrupt and he lived frugal. In other words, he was poor. I say, Cheddie had a limited vision. He did not know how to create wealth. THERE HAS NOT BEEN ANYTIME IN HISTORY WHEN A POOR MAN CREATED EMPLOYMENT FOR HIS FELLOW POOR and to improve their lives. He failed this nation. And now in death, he is being remembered to halt progress. Quite recently, his house was a big discussion-that is all part of the cultish dogma.
The Jagans have completely destroyed democracy in Guyana. They simply did not have that style of thinking when they managed the PPP. So, their approaches to the national interests of Guyana was lacking. Cheddie was elected to a government, but he never governed in the interest of the country. He remained just a PPP man.
Power and control was their ultimate aims. No different than Forbes Burnham. Forbes took power and failed to govern in the interest of the country. He just needed the power
Dr. Jagan also, just wanted the power. However, elected for the honour.  A man in complete control. He consulted no one on his decisions. He just did it. All the sicknesses of this nation, stems from his appointments. Guyana Revenue Agency, held by his very personal relationship along family contacts. On nepotism, he appointed his brother as Speaker and other family members to State Boards. On Cronyism, he appointed his contacts to every State Institutions, be it friends or poorly adequate party members. Sugar and Rice was in trouble when he came into the government, yet he deliberately appointed inadequate individuals to manage those Boards. On corruption, he knew of it, he did nothing to stop it. And when questioned about it by lowly East Indians, he held them in contempt-to the point of insulting. East Indians, stored their wealth in the jewelry they adorned themselves. Cheddie knew of Ministers in his government in the sixties and nineties who extracted bribes from East Indians for state lands and house-lots. He condoned those acts as rewards for his Comrades allegiance to him. Cheddie, knew he had bigots in his cabinet-they made grown men cried-they intimidated fellow East Indian because they were public servants in the PNC regime. He did nothing to curb their racism towards Afro-Guyanese. Complained bitterly about Burnham’s Constitution, yet he did nothing to it, once elected. East Indians felt the brunt of kick-down doors and gun related crimes. The police rented their guns out to criminals. Once elected, Dr. Jagan ignored the plight of the East Indians. Instead, extended the retirement of the Police Commissioner, under whose watch crimes flourished. He should have terminated the man. Then, the man who made promises, he never intend to honour. Monica Reece, killed and her body dumped in the street. Dr. Jagan would promise her mother, justice. The Great Leader of the East Indians was compromised.
Guyana became a criminal state long before Bharrat Jagdeo. Guyana became a corrupt state long before Bharrat Jagdeo. Guyana became the real estate for friends and family long before Bharrat Jagdeo.
Bharrat Jagdeo, simply took it all to a higher level.
People of the Corentyne. This, you must stop.
In the West on Trial, he writes, “at the graveside of the slain men of the Enmore Massacre, he shed a tear and silently pledged to free the people of this country.”
If Dr. Jagan could see what he has done to Guyana?  What his so called legacy is party to? He would strip himself naked. Adorned loin cloth. Sit in ashes. Wail. Throw ashes upon his head in great lamentations for the people whose spilt blood and tears have mingled with the soil of this land.
He died, leaving this country into the hands of devious men and women. Some of them, he knew full well of their misdeeds, before joining Linden Forbes Samson Burnham up above.
And Guyana became a state of compromises and abuses of protocols. The PPP made Sam Hinds a fool in the eyes of his people. Did Dr. Jagan knowingly set up Sam Hinds for the role he was relegated to? If he did, then Dr. Jagan was a closet bigot-a danger to the Guyanese society. The PPP meant more to him than the nation of Guyana. Then came the charade of Janet. The games the Jagans played with the minds of the Guyanese people. Mrs. Jagan would get herself elected as President. Step aside and coronate Bharrat Jagdeo. Her Soviet protégé. Semiramis and Baal thousands of year later-in Guyana.
Mrs. Jagan handed over the East Indians to Bharrat Jagdeo in the memory of her husband, Dr. Jagan. She did such a fantastic job on their hearts and minds, even the legitimate children cannot unhinged that affection. And in this cult, the fruits of Mrs. Jagan teachings gave us the crop misfits at Freedom House-the priests of the Cult of Jagan.
And listen to the voice that emanates from the burden of the Jagans. The yoke majority of citizens are under for his affluence. What does he say? Lies and deceptions- works of Lucifer. Aim is to cheat, steal, rob and kill.
Against great odds, I beseech the East Indians to Vote APNU+AFC. Free yourself from bondage and regain the Peoples Progressive Party.
For this struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm.
Choose well my countrymen. Bette Milder reminds us, “God is watching us from a distance.”

STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

STRATEGIC ALLIANCE
.
“PLEDGE” written on October 5, 2014.
“To Those Who Vote PPP” written November 15, 2014.
It is as though my words are prophetic. I am prompted by that inner voice to write to my country. Jewish Rabbis have stated, “When God speaks, the listener hears the words of God either in his own voice or the voice of his teacher-just as the Prophet Samuel heard the voice of Eli, his teacher.”
The Elections of 2011, I was prompted to write a victory for the AFC-they were favoured. The leadership of the AFC probably did not think much of it or knew of it.
My country needed a fresh start.
For 65 years, I am burdened by the missed opportunities.
That day, at GECOM, when two votes gave the AFC another seat in Parliament. That was the victory.  And of things to come, later. It stunned the Ramotar/Jagdeo Clique. The Combined Opposition became the majority.  In one of the topics on my Blog I have recounted the event of the applications of an incorrect formula, spotted by Mr. Alexander.
That is God at work. Answer to the prayer of a burdensome heart.
Now, I am prompted again to appeal to the East Indian voters. Just as I was prompted back on November 15, 2014 when I wrote, “To Those Who Vote PPP.”
Please, pay heed to my call.
Support the APNU+AFC with every one of your votes.
There is no PPP at this point, only the Ramotar/Jagdeo Clique. A family ran organization, hoping for your empowerment of them, to be more dishonest. The harlots of corruption are more bold and barefaced.
Vote APNU+AFC. It is a Strategic Alliance. One that gives you time to re-build the Peoples Progressive Party. Your party.
The PPP must survive. Just as the PNC and the AFC. It is important and healthy for the country. And I wrote about that too. For the times of madness as we have today, sane men can come together for a common cause of the country’s survival.
I strongly urge you East Indians. Do your part for your country. Please do not empower Ramotar/Jagdeo Clique with your ballot. Doing so will only cause additional punishment to all-including you the East Indians.
Please be sensible.
Preached at, by the Ramotar/Jagdeo Clique to be fearful of their fellow citizens. Telling the East Indians, the PPP is a Coolie Man Party only justifies that the PNC must be a Blackman Party.
The Clique resurrected L.F.S Burnham, to remind East Indians of his banning of flour, dhall, aloo, sardines and other food items.  And for 23 years now under the so called PPP and some years under Desmond Hoyte those food items were imported again.
So what is the purpose of all the talk about Forbes Burnham?
East Indians, please try to see the schemes of the Ramotar/Jagdeo Clique.
Memories are not just about the past. Be curious. And you will know, the past is used to capture your hearts and minds in support of the Clique, for unending generations. Already a whole generation has died in their support for the PPP. They died poor, you are poor and your children will be poor and your children children will be poor. The men and women of the so called PPP will get richer and you will be slave to them. For that is where the Ramotar/Jagdeo Clique wishes to hold you. They have determined your future in the past twenty three years. Because you let them do it.
For God’s sake, please don’t be stubborn.
Change things.
Make things better.
The Clique will preach the fallacies of Forbes Burnham, but they will never tell you how he came to power. There would never have been any of Forbes policies had it not been for the Jagans and their Stalinist /Communist ideology.  They too, were stubborn to change their bankrupt ways of thinking. Just as you the East Indians of today. It is not too late for you to make a difference in the governance of your country.
Not too late. Not yet, anyway.
Dr. Jagan pursue a Communist agenda that excels at keeping citizens of all countries that has that style of thinking in poverty. It did not bother him that he hated capitalism of America, Britain, Canada and other countries that have freedom, plenty to eat and  free expressions. He was willing to trade all those things British Guianese had grown accustomed to, for scarcity of food stuff, suppression of freedom, food rationing and food lines. Forbes Burnham thought like him too. That is why Cheddie Jagan gave support to Burnham’s decisions to restrict freedom of America, British and Canada intervention.
Both men were Soviet stooges. One more fanatical than the other. Forbes pacified Cheddie by quoting Communist doctrines to him. One of Forbes favorite to Cheedie whenever there were complaints, “Oh! Come now comrade, in Communism there is class strife not racial strife.” So bankrupt were both of those men-they made us hate our own countrymen.  Each consumed by power. Forbes for his own Pride. For Cheddie, glorification by his Soviet Masters for his continued efforts. For Cheddie Jagan, the rural East Indians were nothing more than mere votes for his advancement of Communism in Guyana. Cheddie loved the Soviet so much, he even empowered Soviet trained Bharrat Jagdeo as his successor. His actions dictated that. Perhaps, he gave Mrs, Jagan a note on that, before he died.
Is it any wonder that Bharrat Jagdeo would go to any lengths and get the East Indian vote in rural Corentyne.  Dr, Cheddie B. Jagan would approve all of Bharrat Jagdeo words.
Forbes is resurrected by the Clique as the bogey man. Cheddie is resurrected as the saint.
I ask you, please vote for the APNU+AFC. Every person. By doing so, you would have freed yourself from the clutches of Bharrat  Jagdeo. His dominance and the dominance of those that surrounds him. They have nothing in common with you and seek not your hope of better days for your families.
Throw them out of Parliament and you will see how quickly they will go off to America. And with their riches.
Regain the Peoples Progressive Party. It is your party. The party that you sustained for 65 years. Had it not been for you, your parents and grandparents there would not have been any Jagans or Jagdeo. You have empowered these individual with your single vote.
Your vote has power.
And this election use it for CHANGE.
Vote APNU+AFC.
Let your vote be counted in that coalition.
This is your opportunity to re-build your country. Be involved it in. Seldom in history, when situations lines itself up, in such a way, that a change is absolutely necessary. David Granger is not Forbes Burnham. Neither is he like Robert Corbin or Desmond Hoyte. He is an honourable man who will forge policies and procedures to better the lives of all and every Guyanese.
Let it be known, it is a coalition I am asking you to vote for. The Peoples National Congress and the Alliance for Change are the major players. You, who are not supporters of the PNC and AFC must take your block of votes over to the coalition. They will know, you have put your lot in with them.
The aim is to take all 65 seats of parliament. One, for each year of the so called PPP 65 years of existence. And its failure to govern for all the peoples of Guyana.
You are going to regain the Peoples Progressive Party and throw out the current leadership. After 65 years, you will finally have control. The party that was built by past generations hard earned pennies and the purchase of it newspaper-The Thunder. The party will be in your control for the very first time. It is very necessary for a renewed Peoples Progressive Party. The PNC and AFC will still be around.
East Indians! Please doan let Jagdeo use dead men to chart your future. Dumped Bharrat Jagdeo and his band of misfits.
Vote APNU+AFC.
By doing so.
You free yourself of racial politics.
You get the opportunity to regain the PPP.
And chase out Jagdeo and his band of misfits from Freedom House. Out of your lives. For they have no morality.
Look back and find out whether racial divisions have done the country and citizens any good.
Vote APNU+AFC.
Regain control of the Peoples Progressive Party.
Your Political Party.
It is a Strategic Alliance.

FORBIDDEN

FORBIDDEN.
The dictionary explains it to be, not permitted by order or law.
The Peoples Progressive Party guard its East Indian support base from truths-truths that will set the Indo mind free of bondage to the PPP. As their glorious party leader titled his book, “Forbidden Freedom.”
“Forbidden Freedom”, that is why the PPP cabal is reaching into the hearts and souls of the East Indians. Simply, to forbid East Indians their God given rights of Freedom of Thought. The Stalinist of the 1950’s have taught their protégé well at Freedom House. It is like a Generational Curse upon the peoples of Guyana, to deny the existence of God. Because lies and deceptions are the stock and trade of a Communist.
The great irony, these persecutors of Guyanese Civil Rights, have Freedom and Democracy as their Standards. The reality is, they stifle those Pillars of the Society. Their entire 65 years history sought to destroy us as a united country by attacking the institutions given to us from our Colonial Past.
I am reminded of a case study. “Control of the mind.”
“In a room was a pole reaching to the ceiling. On the pole was a bucket. A small bunch of bananas was positioned onto the bucket. In the bucket was water, filled to the brim.
Two monkeys were then let into the room. Upon seeing the bananas, First Monkey ran up the pole. Grabbed at a banana. Immediately, the water filled bucket tipped and soaked the animal. Letting loose of the banana and hurriedly ran down the pole. Second Monkey was cautious going up the pole while First Monkey attempted to restrain the animal’s ascent. Second Monkey freed itself from the grasp of First Monkey and made its way up to the bananas. The animal got soaked as well.
First Monkey was taken out of the room. And “Another Monkey” was let into the room. The same was about to occur. Heading up the pole for the bananas. Only, this time, Second Monkey wrestled with “Another Monkey”, preventing the animal from going up the pole after a prolonged struggle.
Somehow, “Another Monkey” realized it can never go up the pole regardless how tempting were the bananas. The animal never ventured up the pole and experienced the soaking.
After that episode, “Second Monkey” was taken out of the room.
More monkeys were let into the room-one at a time. After “Second Monkey” was removed, all the other monkeys remained in the room as the animals were placed in it.
“Another Monkey” wrestled with the first five monkeys that were let into room from going up the pole. After the fifth monkey, as the others were let into the room, the animals never even bothered with bananas up the pole.
Eventually, “Another Monkey” was removed from the room. And the case study continued with several other monkeys being let into the room and not even one the animals bothered to go up the pole for the bananas.”
The animals were psychologically programmed.
So are the minds of the East Indians.
Never knowing Forbes Burnham or the rigged elections or the era of banned food items or the food lines. Constantly reminded by one another of those terrible 28 years.
The protégé of Janet Jagan were taught to despise the Peoples National Congress and all those who associates with it. It is a hatred carried forward by generations of PPP men and women, young and old at Freedom House. They now have reached their full rottenness. Sixty-five years of lies and deceit.
Why the contempt for Forbes Burnham?
Mrs. Jagan could not accept Mr. Burnham’s challenge to Dr. Cheddie Jagan for the leadership of the Peoples Progressive Party in 1955. The Jagans went on to Split the party because they did not accept the results of the 1955 Congress. How could Burnham dared to challenge the Jagans for the leadership of the Peoples Progressive Party? It was unforgiven. Their campaign to smear him only alienated the citizen of the country.
Mrs. Jagan’s contempt for the PNC was evident when she tossed the writ to the wind. Signifying, “Who the hell is Desmond Hoyte and the PNC. Go ahead and swear me in as the President of Guyana.”
Then, her term of Presidency was shortened.
Hell hath no fury like a woman’s scorn. And scorn, did she have for the citizens of Guyana. She gave us Bharrat Jagdeo.
Mrs. Jagan simply would not depart from us in peace.  As dead as she is.
The Jagans gave us Forbes Burnham. Forbes was quite happy in England. As written in the West on Trial, Cheddie invited Forbes back to British Guiana. And when he split, the East Indians were chattel to the PPP.
And for 28 years the East Indians sang the Jagans lines. No flour, no dhall, no aloo, no sardine, no corned mutton. The lamentations became ingrained hatred. For 28 years the PPP complained about rigged elections. And East Indians felt, that right was taken away from them.
Finally in 1992, the Jagans regained Guyana. And they honoured ALL the citizens of Guyana with their hand-pick Soviet trained successor Bharrat Jagdeo. Exactly the same way they selected Forbes Burnham, they selected Bharrat Jagdeo.  By invitation. And no discussions in the public domain.
Both of these men have caused numerous miseries upon the lives of East Indians. The East Indians knows of the PPP lies and deceit.
BECAUSE.
There were lamentations soon after 1992. The rigged elections, bitterly complained about are now abstained from. For every election, less and less East Indians voted. And all the banned food items they complained about, are on the shelves of stores. Bharrat Jagdeo have taxed them all with VAT.
East Indians!  You have eyes. Do you see Jagdeo and his friends? Take a good long look.
East Indians! Please Vote APNU+AFC. Doan abstain because yuh want to punish the government of Ramotar and at the same time don’t support the APNU+AFC. Please use your votes to free the party that you have supported all your lives. Free it from the grasp of Bharrat Jagdeo and his cronies. They are not members of the Peoples Progressive Party. They have hi-jacked your party with the assistance of the Jagans. They are imposters to your cause. And their opportunistic ways shines as bright as the noon day sun. They sow divisions between you and your fellow countrymen.
Send the imposters of the Peoples Progressive Party packing –throw them out.
Defeat them at the polls.
That is the only way you will be rid of them.
Vote APNU+AFC. You are not abandoning the PPP. A vote for the APNU+AFC gives you Freedom to rebuild the PPP.
Please support the APNU+AFC. Vote APNU+AFC. It is a good group of men with many years of history and wisdom.

PRECEDENT

PRECEDENT:
It is said, “The evil that men do, lives after them.”
Definitely, the Jagans have wronged Guyana innumerable ways. It is not surprising an event to honour them would be celebrated with gyrating music and foul mouth speakers. The Jagans empowered each one of those who were on stage. It is cult worship of the pagan type.
The other five races of people should take serious note of Bharrat Jagdeo’s words.
This nation is cursed by the evil desires of men in power. First, the Jagans and their denial of God in the affairs of Guyana. Then Forbes Burnham and his proclamation of Obeah. Then Jim Jones and his mass murder. And now, we have Jagdeo’s gang. Soon in making the Jagans into gods for their personal use.
Are East Indians, that easily influenced into this cult worship and willing to offer up every other race in Guyana as sacrifice just to empower the hierarchy of the Peoples Progressive Party.
It is a terrible trend. The Peoples Progressive Party have been charting some reckless maneuvers in their 65 years history.
A voice travelled in that history have much to tell.
A political organization with no administrative capabilities. No structure to its credit. Strong arm tactics. Bullies. No respect for protocol. And definitely, no respect for order. They incite their supporters to break the laws, because they themselves disrespect the laws of the country.
A review of history on the 1953 Suspension of the Constitution will show the recklessness of the PPP government. The leadership realized the power of persuasion they possessed when they incited the sugar workers of Enmore.  And the slaughtered are remembered as the Enmore Martyrs. Homage is paid to those fallen men each year. It is that single event which gave the People’s Progressive Party the momentum. The trade union for which they were determined to have recognized by the Sugar Producers Association was the milestone around the necks of the leadership. After, elected in 1953, the PPP was determined to force the hand of the SPA. Complete disrespect for the Crown, failing the realization of their position as the Queen’s Ministers.  They embarked on a campaign of initiating a Strike Call upon the sugar workers in British Guiana. They neglected the duties of their portfolios for the active campaign against the SPA. They were accused of sabotage. The rhetoric for sugar workers were Soviet laced.
Disrespect to the Crown meant, object the laws of the Sovereign. It was lawlessness. Is it any wonder, they have matured fully in their destructive ways.
I hope this current brood of PPP supporters remember the ballot box martyrs. Was their blood spilt so that the Jagans would empower an unethical leadership to manage the affairs of the entire country much less their East Indian support base? Since 1992, the precedent had been set for what we are experiencing as a nation at this time of our history.
Death of C.B.  Jagan and the revolving use of Sam Hinds, sets the precedent for all other political alliances to do the same. Placing the country in tremors of racism-fail at governing as a nation in the Twenty-First century. Do East Indians agree to such things? Do they agree to this precedent? Such decisions and acts divide the country and empower evil doers to carry on without scrutiny.
The PPP supporter said, “Since he gat sense he know only the PPP.” Naturally if that is all he knows, then it will be the PPP he will vote for. I can understand him saying that Nagamoottoo appears to be power drunk. Because that is what the PPP is saying. That is a Precedent that once a person is with the PPP, they can never leave. Even when the PPP is unjust to its supporters. What the PPP supporter said, regardless of how corrupt the PPP is, he is making his children to provide the PPP with a continuous stream of votes. Not only does the PPP supporter delegated himself to mental enslavement, but he also holds the Afro, the Amerinds and every other race into that mental enslavement. He has delegated them to this state of mind, simply by refusing to think of the consequences.
The Jagans set the precedent for poor governance. Mrs. Jagan became President because a dying C.B. Jagan handed her a note. That single event set the precedent for devious men to seize power in the Peoples Progressive Party and circumvent the rules for leadership selection. They operate without any respect for those who voted against them. The PPP lacks the initiatives to govern as a government for all the people.
Under the PNC regime, the pillar of justice was completely toppled. In 1992, the country began to experience the role of the justice system in a small way.  A writ was issued to Mrs. Jagan. Her objections to it, was simply to toss it to the wind. That act would set the precedent for the PPP to silently intimidate the Justice System. The laws and lawyers became prejudiced-honest citizens began to lose their lands and properties due to the corruption of the justice system.
Then, there is the precedent of deliberate false statements. People are saying, Dr. Jagan wanted a National Front Government. Well, the ideal time for him to have done that was in 1992. Instead, he worked to empower a CIVIC movement. The efforts of that alliance disappeared, just as how the PNC overwhelmed TUF. It was never the intentions of the Jagans to have a National Front Government-that is equivalent to making fools of the citizens. Dr, Jagan always spoke about it, but had no intentions of doing it.  A similar false statement, is his words to Nagamootoo of being the leader of the PPP when he should die. He left no written record of his wishes.  Nagamootoo speaks of Cheddie’s efforts to join up with the PNC.  Yet in 1992 after the PPP victory where the winner takes all, he failed to offer the olive branch to the PNC. Now, there is talk that Cheddie would have formed a government with the opposition if faced with the current situation. Perhaps, only a temporary deal. He belaboured the constitution of L.F.S. Burnham but failed to even attempt amendments. His precedent resonated in the Peoples Progressive Party. There was never democratic practices in the Peoples Progressive Party, so how can they administer democracy to the country. Dr. Jagan loved to talk about things he had no intentions of doing. He loved to exhibit his poor life style. Perhaps, he had no dreams to aspire to. How a man who prides his poverty give hope to an Impoverished Nation?
It has not yet happened, when a poor man created employment for his fellow poor.
The Peoples Progressive Party never had a plan for Guyana. The attainment of power was their only goal.  With no plans for progress, the treasury is mismanaged and their responsibilities expected to be fulfilled by foreign entities.

SAD

My country has once again killed one of its citizens. He was a man whose descendants carried him in their loins all the way from West Africa-one of the six races who inhabit this land. And he is no longer.  The  Europeans called this troubled land  the Wild Coast.

We are one half the tribes of Israel with heartaches that causes silent tears in every citizen lives.
Wisdom of King Solomon would be taxed for solutions to our racism.

I hope decent minded Guyanese -the governing kind, break ranks with their political entities and form a Savior Community to rescue this great land.

If only we could be helpful to each other.

JUSTICE

My Countrymen.
Justice!
Is that possible for the poor in Guyana?
I was moved some months ago as I read a commentary of a letter writer in the Kaieteur News. “A man with a placard stood in front of the office of the Minister of Home Affairs.”
He was wronged in some way. I do not what was his bereavement. Whatever it was, he felt compelled to take up the injustice in the public’s eye. His lone demonstration probably did not move anyone.
I was touched by his effort in trying to correct a wrong that was done to him. And there was no one who could help him. For my country has lost the pulse of its heart. Dead. Dead to Justice.
Even the government of the people disrespected him.
That Sunday, I went to church. There I was going to hear a sermon, which can only be grasped as a revelation.
“In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ For some time he refused……………”  It is a parable taken from the Book of Luke, Chapter 18.
Dead to Justice. We were never this way as a colony. Our Justices, Judges, Magistrates and Lawyers were citizens who prided themselves in the practices of the rule of law.  Well organized courts, a place where citizens appeared for justice – the poor and the wealthy. Our judges knew the laws of the land as if committed to memory. And they ruled with a conscience guided by the statutes of God.
Politics of the fifties, assaulted that pillar of society. The Pillar of the Law. First, they demanded the police force refused the commands of the Colonial Powers. That simple request. At a time in our troubled history placed us squarely on the avenue of recklessness. Those who watched over our communities were compromised. And a thing like the Wismar Massacre did happen.
Indiscretions made it easier for President Burnham to control the Police Force to suit his agenda. And the country spiralled into criminal acts on a large scale. Thieves designated their categories –Kitchen Thieves, Clothes Line Thieves, and so on and so on.  Like the people were psychologically damaged. The lack of the basic necessities forced the impoverished to do wrong to their fellow villagers.
Under the watch of President Hoyte, the society gained some grounds on fighting crime. It was like a breath of fresh air.  Excellent but short lived.
And once again, we are bombarded with crimes. But this time, much more horrendous. All of this took place under the watch of Presidents Cheddie Jagan, Samuel Hinds, Janet Jagan, Bharrat Jagdeo and Donald Ramotar. Today, even government officials flaunt the laws of the land.
The guardians of the Laws which is the government have become lawless themselves. They compromised the laws of the land. Their subordinates who are the judges, the magistrates and the lawyers acts as if their decisions are final. Who dare to question them? Don’t ever wait for a written response to an enquiry, the citizen will grow old. There are no recourses for the citizens.
The government doan care.
When there is no justice, anarchy waits round the bend. Fear and vindictiveness in the courts will hurry it along even quicker.
Such unfair practices upon the poor must come to an end. It has been said, “The arm of God is long and moves very slow, but eventually He will take hold of the ungodly.”  That is a promise of the Parable in Luke 18.
A change of those faces that govern is necessary. Guyana needs God fearing individuals to govern. Mediocre governance breathes contempt in all facets of a society.
It is important the social malaise not be viewed as an epidemic in ethnic groups but rather in the wider scope of all Guyanese.
Citizens are never to be powerless.
Be cognizant of your collective might.
And, at the end of days of this regime, just as the one they replaced, their faces will only be images of bad governances.
Future is in the hands of the beholder.  My countrymen behold your future.
Sincerely,
Velutha Kuttapen.
